Is this thing on?

Hello all!

I figured there were other mamas out there like me that would like to connect. My daughter is almost 10 months and thinks she's a toddler already. She's working on taking steps and she just won't stop talking. Now what she's talking about, the world can only guess...

I'm working on getting back into pre-baby shape, which is hard when you go to what is guised as a friendly child's birthday party and you end up with enchiladas and frozen lemon custard on your plate. Then there's the cake and assorted snacks that make their way into your face.

So needless to say, I'm struggling to keep afloat between trips to Stride Rite and Weight Watchers, I barely know which end is up.
